Investment Advisor & Investment Operations
Laura Ryan joined the MFC team as an Investment Operations Administrator in 2016. Since then, Laura assists the team by performing necessary tasks in order to help clients achieve their lifelong financial goals. She is currently working toward obtaining her CFP® Board Certification.
In 2004, Laura graduated from California State University Fresno with a B.A. in Philosophy and a B.S. in Criminology. After college, Laura traveled to Germany to pursue a lifelong dream of playing soccer in Europe. While in Germany, she worked for Bank of America’s Overseas Division as a loan officer. Laura also assisted with the training and establishment of new Bank of America branches throughout Europe.
After returning to the US, she took some time off from the banking sector and volunteered in the medical sector in upstate New York. During one weekend visit to Charleston in 2012, Laura fell in love with the Lowcountry and in 2013 relocated to the area.
Since high school, Laura has always been an active volunteer in the community, finding a passion for serving others. Currently, Laura is a member of the Lowcountry Ladies Exchange. This is a civic organization committed to community service, networking, and fellowship.
Self-proclaimed foodie and dog mom to the original MFC office pup, Espy, Laura also loves sports, fitness, and taking trips to places off the beaten path. She says she feels like the luckiest person in the world and is so thankful for everything this life has awarded her.
Laura Ryan enjoys guiding clients along the journey created with their financial planner. Laura’s role in the financial planning process is to assist with the logistics of implementing the financial planner’s recommendations.
