Savannah is a lead financial planner here at MFC who enjoys the research, numbers & spreadsheets just as much as she enjoys getting to know her clients and their financial and non-financial goals. She utilizes MFC’s academic approach to financial planning led by the client’s goals to develop a big picture roadmap for meeting those goals. Savannah appreciates that no two clients are the same and takes the time to analyze and present in a way that makes each client feel heard and understood.
Originally from Northern California, Savannah was recruited and subsequently studied at Clemson University where she was a four-year starter on the Women’s soccer team. She served as team captain her senior year while pursuing a degree in Financial Management with a minor in Accounting. She accredits much of her character and work ethic to her experience as a Clemson Women’s Soccer player who was a big part of re-building a program that had fallen short in previous years. In her senior year in 2014, the team made it back to the NCAA tournament (and back in the National Rankings) for the first time since 2007. Upon graduation, she followed her dream of playing soccer professionally and traveled to Finland where she played one season in the professional league. When she decided to hang up her professional cleats, she found financial planning where she would have the ability to combine her technical skillset with her passion for helping others. Savannah began her career in financial planning through a Financial Planning Apprentice program at a regional brokerage firm in Seattle. When life brought her to Charleston in 2017, she jumped at the opportunity to continue her career with the MFC Team. She passed the CFP® exam in 2018 and obtained her CFP® designation shortly after in 2019. Savannah also holds an Enrolled Agent designation.
Savannah continues to enjoy an active lifestyle with her husband, Trevor, their daughter Kenna who was born in 2022 and their two cocker spaniels, Knox & Sadie Mae. Savannah participates in CrossFit and enjoys watching college football (Go Tigers!) and the simple joys like throwing the ball for their dogs in the sunshine.
