Information Technology Manager and Chief Compliance Officer
Growing up around Morris Financial Concepts has provided Tucker with in depth knowledge of the firm’s operations and exposure to the world of Financial Planning. At the age of 15, Tucker implemented the electronic portfolio management system. During college, Tucker helped with everything from bookkeeping to managing information technology.
In 2005 Tucker graduated from the College of Charleston with a B.A. in philosophy and a minor in economics. After spending some time in law school, Tucker chose to follow his passion and change careers to Information Technology. Though he enjoyed his time working for the electronic medical record company, Epic, the cold Madison, Wisconsin climate was not ideal over his hometown of Charleston, South Carolina’s sunshine. Tucker was happy to return home and take over as Chief Compliance Officer and IT Manager for Morris Financial Concepts.
Tucker has always had a passion to help others. Since joining the firm in 2014, he has discovered an opportunity to serve through financial planning. Tucker also volunteers teaching technology classes in local high schools through the Microsoft TEALS program. A proud father of two, Tucker enjoys spending his free time gaming, from Dungeons and Dragons to other board games.
